Martin Ødegaard

Martin Ødegaard is the name many are raving about currently and with good reason. The 20-year-old has been making huge waves in the Eredivise this season and has some solid numbers to back it up. The highest amount of key passes made in the league, one of the leading creators of chances, 15 goal contributions – it goes on and on.

Largely forgotten about in recent campaigns, his recent explosion into form should be taken note of. Just look at his last game, 3 assists, 10 dribbles completed and 6 key passes. He has consistently provided for Vitesse this season.

Whilst Madrid have some growing bright youngsters, Ødegaard is easily one of the best amongst them next to Vinicius Jr. His good form warrants at minimum the chance to prove his worth.

Verdict: Used in preseason before decision is made on his future.
