Real Madrid will take on a Getafe side that are punching way above their weight and are on course to making history for the first time to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. Here is a quick preview ahead of kickoff!
Los Merengues go into this match with nothing to play for against a team with almost everything to play for. Matches between these two sides have always been interesting and this should prove to be the same even with Zinedine Zidane experimenting with his lineups against the strongest team so far since his return to the club.
The last time that the two sides met was the opening match of the campaign as Real Madrid was able to come out with a convincing 2-0 win on the night thanks to goals by Daniel Carvajal and Gareth Bale. A lot has changed since then as Real Madrid are looking to end a miserable season on a high note.

Thibaut Courtois has been called up for the first time by Zinedine Zidane after his return from injury while the French manager has understandably not decided to rush Vinicius Junior and ensure that the Brazilian is as fit as possible before being called up to a match.
Surprisingly, he has also chosen to leave Marcos Llorente and Dani Ceballos out of the squad list as speculation will surely intensify regarding their futures with the club. Our captain Sergio Ramos still continues to recover from his injury and therefore has not been called up to this match.
As the season finally comes to an end soon, Zidane has stuck to his promise that all available players will get a chance to play and that wonβt change in the next few games. This makes it difficult to predict a lineup as there may even be formation changes.
Having said that, the manager will always aim to win matches as his goal is to finish the season as strongly as possible and that would mean naming the strongest players against a team as good as Getafe while keeping in mind what plans Zidane may have.
Predicted Lineup
Thibaut Courtois, Daniel Carvajal, Nacho Fernandez, Marcelo, Carlos Casemiro, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, Marco Asensio, Karim Benzema
