Conclusion

It was a great start from Real Madrid but poor decision making from Jesus Vallejo cost the game. There is no doubt that playing with 10 men was a struggle for Madrid. With Casemiro required to join the backline, there was a lack of balance in the middle of the park and a disconnect with the front line.

The tieing goal from Real Sociedad thrust them forward in the second half. Unfortunately, there is plenty of blame to be placed on Courtois. His two mistakes, one a slip and the other a weak hand gave Sociedad the win, mistakes that just cannot happen.

Casemiro will be suspended for the next game of the season, due to an accumulation of yellow cards. Though the season has been a wash it would a great to grab all three points and end the season on a high note.

Real Madrid will host Real Betis at the Bernabeu on Matchday 38 which will see the return of Capitan Sergio Ramos. It could also be the last time we see several players. Some are likely to head out on loan while others are rumored to be sold come the transfer window.
