Real Madrid is being targeted by Paris Saint-Germain for three players in a nine-figure transfer deal. Here’s who is involved and how it could go down.

Real Madrid is going to be busy this summer transfer window looking to beef up their squad in preparation for the 2019-2020 campaign. Much of the news surrounding the clubs transfer affairs has focused on the buying of players but an article by Le Parisien has some fans nervous.

The article suggests that Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain, have the eyes for three Real Madrid players. The French club fell short of the mark once again in the Champions League and are now looking to the title holders of the competition to better their chances.

The Qatari funded club is trying to lure the talents of Toni Kroos, Isco and Gareth Bale to the Capital. PSG will be selling several of their own players and believe that three players from Real Madrid can fill the void.

Of the three aforementioned players, none of their fates have been determined. Gareth Bale is the player that is most likely to leave. Manager Zinedine Zidane has been short in his responses when asked about the Welshman.

Toni Kroos was integral during Zidane’s first stint with Madrid. The German worked as the metronome, dictating the pace of the match while creating plenty of chances. Bar this season, Kroos has been a steal for Madrid, arriving from Bayern Munich.

At 29-years-old he still has several great years ahead of him reducing the likelihood that he is sold by the club. In addition, the club does not yet have a viable first-team replacement for the midfielder.

Isco, on the other hand, is the player who seems to be stuck in some limbo. During Zidane’s first reign with the club, Isco has times where he struggled to break into the starting XI. When he did though he played well with several brilliant Champions League performances coming to mind.

All three players are currently in a contract with Real Madrid, and attached to them are some astronomically high release clauses.

PSG have some deep pockets but a move for all three seems unlikely. Gareth Bale though would be the player most likely to go through as Real Madrid try to free up space on their wage structure and bring in new talent.
