Conclusion

Either Gareth Bale does not realize that his legacy at Madrid is getting ruined, or he just doesn’t give a damn about it. At Madrid, either you leave on your own or you stay long enough to become a villain. If Bale forces his stay, he will soon become a villain.

And it would be really sad to see, he does not deserve that. Whatever the case may be – greed, comfort zone or sheer lack of ambition, I just hope that Bale rises above it and finds himself a new home this window.

A home where he can command stature and where he is wanted. And that home is no longer Real Madrid. It could have been, but it just wasn’t meant to be, for Gareth Bale.
