Real Madrid players report for the first day of preseason training

The long month and a half wait is over folks! The majority of Real Madrid players will be returning to the Valadebebas today to begin preseason training and preparations for the tour of the United States which is set to kick off in a matter of weeks.

Players like Gareth Bale, Marcelo, Vinicius Junior, and Sergio Ramos have reported back and are already getting prepared for the fall. Some players, like Casemiro, Eder Militao, Dani Ceballos, and a few others will not be asked to report for another week or so after participating in international tournaments over the summer break.

One interesting side note from the players reporting today was castaway Gareth Bale receiving some shouts and harsh criticism from fans as he pulled into the training facility.

Fans called him “ungrateful” and booed as he drove past without acknowledging them. Yikes.
