Luca Zidane could head out on loan this season

Racing Santander are interested in acquiring Zinedine Zidane’s son, Luca, for the upcoming season on loan. The 21-year-old has received significant interest from the likes of Fuenlabrada, Deportivo la Coruña, and Clermont, but a move to Santander looks to be in the cards.

With Andriy Lunin set to return from a tumultuous loan stint with Leganés, and Thibaut Courtois as well as Keylor Navas still the two best options in net, Luca seems destined for a move away from his father and Real Madrid this coming season.

After earning promotion last season, Racing de Santander is a quality spot for a man who is hopeful he can one day be relied upon by his father. Playing in the second division in Spain would do a lot more good for Luca Zidane than playing for the Castilla team or better yet, ride the bench for the majority of the season.

Next. Theo Hernandez’s departure from Real Madrid shouldn’t come as a surprise. dark

This looks like a win-win scenario for both clubs and the player, so expect this deal to get done relatively soon.
