Real Madrid has decided to loan out promising midfielder Jaime Seoane to SD Huesca for the season. After making a few appearances in the preseason, the board has decided a loan stint with the second division side is better than playing with the Castilla team.

Jaime Seoane will spend the campaign with recently relegated side SD Huesca after failing to impress manager Zinedine Zidane during the club’s tour of the United States.

Seoane’s move to the community of Aragon was sealed three days ago and was not talked about almost at all by Madridistas since Seoane was never seen as a possible first team player.

The move was confirmed by both clubs on August 6th and the 22-year-old has already started training with his temporary team.

Valued at just €285,000 by Transfer Markt, this could be Jaime Seoane’s last chance to show that he is developing into a quality player and could be utilized in the coming couple of years. Last season with Castilla, Seoane made 37 league appearances scoring three goals and providing three assists.

Seoane saw plenty of playing time under former manager Santiago Solari and was influential in Castilla’s move from the Segunda Division B Grupo II to Gruop I. Now with Huesca, the midfielder is expected to be quite influential and receive plenty of playing time.

The Real Madrid first team midfield is incredibly deep and is probably the most difficult position group to break into, therefore, Seoane needs to make a big splash on loan or he could be sold very, very soon.

He didn’t blow anyone away with his performances against Bayern Munich, Arsenal, or Atletico Madrid and at times looks immature and rattled by the spotlight.

Away from the Santiago Bernabéu and the hyper critical Real Madrid faithful, Jaime Seoane should thrive. If he doesn’t, he could be on his way out next summer.
