Eden Hazard will be best player at El Clasico

Real Madrid vs. Barcelona will be soon upon us for the first time in the 2019-2020 campaign, as the two legendary clubs will square off at Camp Nou on Oct. 26 for an early Saturday kick-off. There’s plenty of speculation surrounding the statuses of star players Ansu Fati, Toni Kroos, and Ousmane Dembele, but regardless of who plays or who doesn’t, this game should be another thrilling encounter that gives an early clue to the title race.

Los Blancos need a lift from their star players, as they’ll need to match Barcelona’s attacking firepower with their own goals. Enter Eden Hazard, who recently got off the scoring mark on Matchday 8 against Granada by chipping a lovely assist from Fede Valverde over Rui Silva.

In the second half, Hazard added his first assist of the campaign, though he does have to thank Luka Modric for essentially doing all the work with his incredible postage stamp finish from well outside the box.

Hazard played well against Granada and answered the critics, but he’ll save his best performance of the season for Matchday 10 against Barcelona. I have a feeling he will be the best player on the pitch that day, bamboozling Barcelona’s fullbacks and centerbacks alike in a hard-working display.

Zidane will entrust Hazard to run all over the field, popping up in central areas to spring the likes of Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale loose for shots on target. It will be a vintage display from the former Chelsea star.
