Following Real Madrid’s narrow victory over Galatasaray in the Champions League, it’s time to take a look at which players are rising and falling in stock as the club heads into the final match of October against Leganes.

Real Madrid seemed to have positive momentum heading into the October international break. They defeated Granada 4-2 to secure their footing atop the league table, and while Toni Kroos suffered an injury, they had more players returning from multi-week absences.

However, the break ended with two more injuries to Luka Modric and Gareth Bale, Real embarrassed themselves against bottom-half side Mallorca, and they barely bounced back in the Champions League with an unconvincing 1-0 victory over Galatasaray.

But at the end of the day, Real got their three points in Istanbul, winning their first Champions League fixture after a debacle in Paris and a last-gasp draw with Club Brugge. Los Blancos have four points in the table and are still in position to advance to the knockout stages, knowing that they haven’t quiet yet gelled as a team following their 300 million-euro summer.

Real Madrid have one more fixture left in October against another easy side in Leganes, but, as it has become clear, there are no easy games for Los Blancos this season. They cannot take anything for granted, because each them they have, they’ve been bitten for it.

Here’s a look at which players are rising and falling in stock as Real rest up before facing Leganes on Oct. 30.
