Rodrygo

It was a bit of a surprise seeing Rodrygo Goes get his first Champions League appearance in a hostile environment, but the young Brazilian forward performed admirably in his 82 minutes of work.

Working down that right side, Rodrygo linked well with Dani Carvajal and really tested the Gala defense. Though his passing was a bit off at 72 percent, his four dribbles, and ability to run in behind is an asset Zidane can utilize moving forward.

Next. It turns out moving back El Clasico could help greatly. dark

Rodrygo has thrown his name in the fight to be a starter on the wing with his countryman Vinicius Junior and Gareth Bale better be looking over his shoulder. Lucas Vazquez is in the same boat since he has come out of the gate this season so slowly and has the fans frustrated.

If Rodrygo can work his way to the middle of the box more often, the goals will come by way of his skill. He just needs more opportunities to show what he can do.
