Everything Karim Benzema does

There is simply nothing Karim Benzema cannot do as a No. 9, which is why many fans and pundits rate him as arguably the best striker in the world. Robert Lewandowski has a great claim to the title at Bayern Munich with 16 league goals already, but Karim Benzema has also been in fine scoring form with 10 goals in 12 league games and a pair of braces in his last two Champions League outings.

But Benzema brings so much more to the table than just critical goals for Los Blancos. He has emerged as a true leader in the squad, helping young players like Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo get integrated into the first team. He is unselfish, linking up with his wingers and feeding teammates for goal-scoring opportunities. Benzema is a Madridista through and through, and he will wear this kit with pride until he retires.

Benzema has 10 goals and 4 assists in La Liga this season as one of only three players with more than 1,000 minutes played. He is in phenomenal form, but it may be more accurate to say that he is phenomenal as a whole. This isn’t just form, of course, because Benz has been operating at this elite level for a long time. Throughout the season, he has been unstoppable, scoring important goals against the likes of PSG and Sevilla.
