Real Madrid attacking midfielder Toni Kroos has been enjoying a fantastic bounce-back season for Los Blancos in 2019-2020, and he scored one of the finest goals of his career in the Spanish Supercup against Valencia.

Toni Kroos keeps on adding highlight-reel moments to his long list. The Real Madrid center midfielder scored a wondergoal at the World Cup as time expired, has hit some insane first-time finish shots in a White kit, and recently put away an “Olympic goal” in Real’s spearmint jerseys.

What is an “Olympic goal” – or Gol Olimpico?

Well, I’ll let Kroos illustrate for you.

Magnificent.

Toni Kroos has been money with his set piece deliveries all season long, including an assist in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Getafe on Raphael Varane’s second-half headed goal. But this time, Kroos decided to go for goal on the corner himself, and he caught this one absolutely perfectly, completely embarrassing Valencia goalkeeper Jaume Domenech.

Seriously, you have to feel for Jaume there. I mean, what on earth could he do about that goal? Pure class from Kroos.

The German international has been making dangerous strikes all season long for Los Blancos, and it feels like he could have an especially fruitful second-half of the season in front of goal. With a strike like this from a corner, who knows what else is to come from the 30-year-old?

Kroos’ 15th-minute goal from this corner gave Real Madrid an early lead over Valencia in Saudi Arabia in the semifinals of the Spanish Supercup.

This season, per WhoScored.com, Kroos leads Real with an astounding 93.1% pass completion percentage and 2.4 key passes per game. He also has drawn 1.8 fouls per game with 1.8 shots per game. Kroos leads Real in crosses, long balls, and total passes. The superstar midfielder was first among all Champions League players in the group stages in key passes per game.

Next. There's no way Achraf Hakimi chooses Bayern. dark

It’s safe to say Kroos is back to being one of the absolute best – if not THE best – midfielders in the world right now.

What a goal!
