Real Madrid recently completed the 30 million euro signing of Reinier Jesus from Flamengo, but he could be loaned to another La Liga club to finish the rest of the 2019-2020 season.

On Sunday, Real Madrid escaped the Jose Zorrilla with three points after a gritty game against Real Valladolid. The win moved Los Blancos into first in the league table, finally pushing them ahead of an admittedly struggling FC Barcelona side.

Valladolid have struggled for goals this season, but they could get a boost in the form of a talented Real Madrid prospect.

Los Blancos recently signed Reinier Jesus for 30 million euros from Flamengo, making him just the latest young Brazilian star to join the club. But it will be difficult for him to earn playing time at attacking midfield with the likes of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Isco, and James Rodriguez capable of starring at the position.

So according to reports from Globo Esporte and Pucela Fichajes, via Infinite Madrid on Twitter, Valladolid have noticed an opening and asked Los Blancos for Reinier on loan.

Valladolid reportedly want Reinier for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season, and that sounds like a reasonable request. They need another attacking player, especially one like Reinier who is exciting on the ball and capable of both scoring goals and assisting others. The 18-year-old has an advanced mentality at the position for his age, so he could immediately contribute.

However, it may be easier for him to earn playing time at Castilla than at Valladolid. And this early in his tenure with Real, the club may want him to learn the ropes of the “Madrid Way” and pick up the system at Castilla, which is similar to the setup used by the senior side.

Next. Dani Ceballos may not be joining Valencia after all. dark

Still, it’s an interesting situation to monitor now that Valladolid have thrown their hats into the ring. If Takefusa Kubo can get a loan to RCD Mallorca, then Reinier could also get a chance at Valladolid for a few months. Both clubs have a good relationship, too, so another loan deal between them could further that.
