RW Lucas Vazquez

He got taken out in the 81st minute by Inigo Perez, who should have been booked for a disgusting challenge on Vazquez. Luckily, Vazquez was not injured by the egregious foul.

But Vazquez got his revenge in the 84th minute, finishing at the far post after working hard to support Karim Benzema, who did well to find Vazquez with a clever lay-off.

Rating: 7.0 out of 10

LW Vinicius Junior

Came in for Isco in the final 15 minutes and immediately made an impact, actively pressing Osasuna’s defense and giving Nacho Vidal all sorts of headaches. As usual, he also worked hard on defense. He is one of the most super substitutes in world football. (And obviously a lot more than that!)

Rating: 6.5 out of 10

ST Luka Jovic

Joined the match in the final five minutes to give Karim Benzema some rest with the match put to bed at 3-1. It’d be lovely to see Jovic get more playing time in these substitute appearances, but with the game at 2-1, it was difficult for Zidane to take one of his star players off.

Even with only a few minutes, Jovic made a profound impact, showing his technical quality by emphatically putting away an easy opportunity. Here’s to hoping more goals are coming for this wonderful young forward!
