Karim Benzema

I wrote about this last week but I will again since I am still in disbelief. How can Karim Benzema be having his best season with Real Madrid at 32 years old after playing with the club for 11 seasons?

Look no further than Zinedine Zidane. The manager knows how to use Benz and it has been through the false nine. With talented and quick wingers, Benzema can drop deeper in the formation to help build up the attack and get himself more involved.

After struggling in the two seasons between 2016 and 2018 where he scored 29 goals in all competition, The Big Benz has already racked up 18 goals and nine assists this season.

dark. Next. Thibaut Courtois is even more than the saves

He has made Luka Jovic nothing more than a backup in his first season with Real Madrid and Zidane rightfully relies on Karim in the big matches. He has delivered time and again and that is in large part thanks to Zinedine Zidane.

Without him as the boss, Benz could have been sold before Ronaldo decided to leave.
