Real Madrid are expected to get Eden Hazard back for this weekend’s game against Celta Vigo. Here are five of his teammates who will benefit the most from his return to the starting lineup.

Nothing is guaranteed, but MARCA has reported that Real Madrid superstar left winger Eden Hazard is expected to return to the squad on Matchweek 24 when Los Blancos face relegation candidates Celta Vigo.

Hazard has been out of the lineup since November with a serious ankle injury, which was initially only seen as minor. The Belgian star was then expected to return for El Derbi on Feb. 1, but Real defeated rivals Atletico without their star man. He then missed the club’s loss to Real Sociedad and their marvelous away performance against Osasuna this past Sunday.

Real Madrid have their eyes on Hazard returning by the time the Champions League knockout stages return in late February when Los Blancos take on Pep Guardiola‘s Manchester City. And when Hazard returns, here are five teammates who will benefit from his presence.

CF Karim Benzema

Before Eden Hazard suffered the ankle injury against PSG, he and Karim Benzema were on an absolute tear offensively. And no single game better showcased their emerging partnership than the 3-1 win they scored over Real Sociedad in their first fixture against Martin Odegaard‘s team at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Hazard and Benzema were untouchable and on the same wavelength, consistently finding each other and weaving magic as they led attacks against La Real’s vulnerable defense.

Benzema had a whopping five goals in the month of November in all competitions, and it’s no surprise that his best individual month came when Hazard was playing at his best, fully integrated into the team.

Look for Benzema to return to his “Player of the Season” form once Hazard returns.
