Coming into Matchday 24, Celta were in the relegation battle. They got off to an early 1-0 lead before Toni Kroos and a Sergio Ramos penalty brought the game back in Real Madrid’s favor. It looked like Los Blancos would secure another impressive comeback victory, but their offside trap faltered when Santi Mina beat Dani Carvajal in the penalty box, slotting home after Denis Suarez brilliantly split open the defense.

GK Thibaut Courtois
Thibaut Courtois was faultless for both Celta Viga goals, but Real Madrid can thank their star goalkeeper for keeping them in the game. Without him, they would have lost, as he made one jaw-dropping save. As usual, Courtois looked confident on the ball, and it seems like he’s good for one wild save per game.
