AM Nabil Fekir

Nabil Fekir is the most well-known player on Real Betis, as he was legitimately a world-class attacking midfielder for Lyon. If it weren’t for a failed medical, he could have been a key playmaker for Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

This season, Fekir has found his groove at Betis with seven goals and two assists. Leading the team in shots per game, Fekir is the most goal-hungry player on the Green and Whites. He’s also the most dynamic, averaging a whopping 3.3 dribbles completed with 3.9 fouls drawn per game. Fekir is by far the team leader in both statistics.

The French attacking midfielder can wreak havoc on Real Madrid’s defense from a variety of positions on the field, so the entire back four – plus Casemiro in the defensive midfield – must be wary of the threat Fekir poses. He is a joy to watch with the ball at his feet and is in the mood to score goals.

CB Marc Bartra

A familiar player to Real Madrid fans, Marc Bartra will never live down the time Gareth Bale embarrassed him in the Copa del Rey final. But the former FC Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund defender has always been one of the better center backs in any league he’s played in, and he’s enjoying a quality campaign as Betis’ top defender.

Like Emerson, Bartra is averaging 2.2 tackles per game. The 29-year-old is also intercepting 1.1 passes per game with 4.4 clearances per game and 0.8 blocks per game. Bartra is a smart, capable defender who is willing to put his body on the line, and he is the glue holding the Sevilla-based club together defensively.
