The Borussia Dortmund star has been a revelation throughout the 2019-2020 campaign, emerging as a rising star for RB Salzburg in the Champions League with all the spotlight on him during group stage matchups with the likes of Liverpool.

Erling Haaland is a special athlete who was tabbed as a can’t-miss prospect, and he’s only elevated his stock to epic proportions during his first few games with the Black and Yellows.

He has scored nine Bundesliga goals in only seven appearances, totaling 422 minutes. Haaland’s clinical finishing is a sight to behold, and, as he showed against PSG in the Champions League, the Norway star is capable of scoring goals out of nothing with a rocket shot.

A special athlete, Haaland has “special” written all over him. What he’s doing in his first games in one of Europe’s top five leagues is absolutely mind-blowing. The 19-year-old shows movement ability and tactical awareness beyond anything we’ve seen from a young striker, and, combined with his rare strength and agility, you have a lethal weapon.

Haaland won’t come cheap this summer, but he could be cheaper than Kylian Mbappe. And if Mbappe isn’t a possibility due to PSG’s understandable unwillingness to make him available for any price, then Haaland could be a dream “Plan B” when it comes to adding goals.
