Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has gotten used to the random rumors about his job status, but here are three reasons why Madridistas must trust in the legend’s leadership.

Since the 2019-2020 La Liga season has been suspended and may never be completed with the Champions League in equal limbo, it’s time to take stock of what Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has done in the first full season of his second stint at the club.

Zidane inherited a team that floundered in the 2018-2019 Champions League and finished third in La Liga, which essentially constitutes an embarrassment of a season for a club of Real’s stature.

Although Real slipped behind FC Barcelona in the league table before the season was suspended, they were highly competitive in La Liga and had some dangerous moments in the Champions League.

Zidane didn’t dominate opponents like he did in his first stint, but since the team is transitioning to the post-Cristiano Ronald period, dominance wasn’t expected. A beginning of a “revolution” and growth were expected, and Zidane has quietly achieved both.

Here are three reasons why Real Madrid fans need to stand by the club legend heading into the 2020 summer transfer window and the 2020-2021 season.
