Real Madrid fans are always excited for incoming players during the summer transfer window, but in order for stars to join, a few familiar faces must leave.

Madridistas have dreams of Florentino Perez signing top stars like Kylian Mbappe, Jadon Sancho, and Erling Haaland in the coming summer transfer window. But in order for Real Madrid to move ahead with the next step of their revolution, they need to cut some of their stars of the past loose. And those are never easy decisions.

The issue is that Real didn’t have enough attacking firepower, as they are still transitioning to a new attack without Cristiano Ronaldo as the centerpiece.

Players like Sadio Mane and Mbappe can help Real score more goals in 2020-2021, but in order to make space for top talents and more rising stars like Donny van de Beek, several established players must leave to clear out physical and wage space
