2. Collective Confusion:

It’s going to be entertaining for the fans once they are able to see how the fixtures are set up because I believe that we can all agree that things will be sped up and therefore we may be seeing Real Madrid play a lot more than they are used to.

Constantly playing two games a week? That’s very possible as they will need to end the season as soon as possible, give the players their vacations and start the next season while keeping in mind that the summer of 2021 will see the players take part in the postponed Euro and Copa America competitions. Scheduling all this is a lot more difficult that it seems.

3. A Fight for Places?

It’s no secret that the coronavirus pandemic has hit the world economically and therefore a lot of clubs would have had to throw away their recruitment plans for the summer and shift their focus on what they can do or even if they are able to do anything.

Prices of players may even take a drastic hit which is something that could be seen either positively or negatively. Either way, this could mean that players who were expecting to be sold may not be anymore. Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, and Mariano Diaz come to mind here.

It will be very interesting to see what happens with them by the time the transfer window opens (which may also be on a different date than we’re used to) and whether Real Madrid have changed their plans for the players.

What about players who were rumored to be joining the Spanish capital? Well, it’s safe to keep it simple and say things won’t go as planned and the team will definitely have to focus on extreme priorities before making any decisions. However, this is Real Madrid we’re talking about and I would bet that we’ll see some players moving on while others will almost definitely be joining by the time the next season begins.
