Real Madrid have so many talented young players in 2020, but who has the potential to become the club’s biggest star?
Last season, several young players on Real Madrid – or loaned to other clubs – put in some stellar performances.
Fede Valverde was the club’s biggest breakout star, Ferland Mendy immediately looked at home at left back, Eder Militao showed potential, Luka Jovic had some flashes, Rodrygo Goes had a couple of tremendous games, and Vinicius Junior played a key role at the end of the season.
When looking at the loanees, Achraf Hakimi and Martin Odegaard were among Europe’s biggest stars, Sergio Reguilon was arguably the best fullback in La Liga, Takefusa Kubo may have been Mallorca’s best player when in the lineup, and Oscar Rodriguez was Leganes’ brightest starter.
As you can see, Los Blancos are absolutely loaded with young talent heading into 2020-2021.
But which three players have the most potential and the best chance of becoming a top star for Real Madrid beyond 2020? It isn’t an easy question to answer, but these three attacking stars showed future world-class ability – and in one man’s case, he may already be one of the best in the league – in 2019-2020 and thus deserve special consideration.
