Real Madrid: Three things to watch for when training resumes on Monday
By Ben Sundock
What will the COVID-19 testing show?
When the Real Madrid squad returns to the training facility, there will be some noticeable changes. The Valadebebas has been changed to comply with the country’s health and hygiene requirements to continue to enforce social distancing.
Common areas will be off-limits and the Spanish Football Federation will keep a close eye on the number of coaches, staff, and players at the facility at any given time.
Although we do not know what those numbers will look like, Marca has reported that players could feel more isolated when going to train at the facility than when they were training at home.
When players do come in during the first week, there will be medical personnel on hand to conduct a coronavirus test to make sure the player is not carrying the virus. We will learn a lot in the first week with the players back out in public, and this could be the most important piece of it all.
What happens if someone working with Real Madrid tests positive for the disease or a player is carrying it?
