RW Ferran Torres
Valencia forward Ferran Torres has been a long-time target for Real Madrid, and he was absolutely sensational in their 1-1 draw with Valencia in December.
Torres has all the tools to be a world-class player, and he is already one of La Liga’s top wide forwards. Last season, the 20-year-old sensation scored four goals with four assists as his team’s most consistent player, averaging 1.7 dribbles per game and 1.2 fouls per game, according to WhoScored.com.
Like Aouar, Torres was even more dynamic in the Champions League, averaging 2.0 dribbles per game and 1.7 fouls drawn per game. His key passes doubled from 0.8 to 1.7 per game in that competition as well.
Torres is a young player who never seems small for the moment, often elevating his displays to the level of competition he faces. Again, Real Madrid can attest to that in December.
A much more affordable option than other wide forward targets like Jadon Sancho and Sadio Mane, Torres is far more than a consolation prize. He’s a high-upside wide forward who is already making a big impact in the same league, and he would absolutely fill the club’s biggest position of need in a right winger who has scoring quality in the box.
