We take a look at the top five goals scored by Real Madrid players this 2019/20 season.

Real Madrid have had a good season so far, currently occupying the second spot in the league and won the Spanish Super Cup in January. The Whites have scored 77 goals in all competitions this season and conceded 35 goals. Karim Benzema is the top scorer of the season with 19 goals all season followed by Rodrygo and Sergio Ramos both on 7 goals each.

The players have scored some great goals throughout this season, making it very difficult just to choose the top 5. Please note that I’ve decided to go with only solo goals – that means no team goals – ones that had a moment of ingenuity, talent, or pure magic.

Here are my top 5 goals of the season!

5. Karim Benzema vs Real Vallodolid

We kick off this list with a goal scored by the top scorer of this season, going back to matchday two of La Liga for this one against Real Valladolid who were visiting the Bernabeu. After the 1-3 victory away against Celta de Vigo on matchday one, the Whites were confident of picking up all the three points here.

But Valladolid proved to be a stubborn team to break down. That is until the 82nd minute when Karim Benzema popped up with a piece of magic.

Benzema controlled a pass from Raphael Varane, at the edge of the box with his back turned towards the goal, and then swiveled before striking the ball into the far side of the goal post for a neat finish to the move.

It was a neat control and turn from Benzema before applying an equally impressive finish, which is why the goal makes it into the top 5.
