Real Betis CAM Nabil Fekir

Capable of starting literally anywhere in the attack, Nabil Fekir is at his best when he’s a No. 10. Real Madrid already have plenty of No. 10’s and would thus never pursue Fekir, but on quality alone, he should be on Los Blancos’ radar.

After all, Fekir completely tore Madrid to shreds in the last game before the season was suspended, as Betis defeated Los Merengues. Fekir is a handful for any defense and an absolute genius on the ball with his technical ability, tactical awareness, agility, and goal-scoring.

Legitimately world-class, Fekir was one of La Liga’s top five overall players. He scored seven goals with three assists and averaged a staggering 3.3 dribbles completed per game and 3.8 fouls drawn per game, according to WhoScored.com. Those are Eden Hazard-esque numbers.

Levante GK Aitor Fernandez

If Thibaut Courtois was La Liga’s best goalkeeper last season with the least goals per 90 minutes allowed and the most clean sheets as a percentage of his appearances, Levante’s Aitor Fernandez was the most important keeper to his team.

Aitor frustrated Barcelona, Real Madrid, and all the other big clubs in Spain with some jaw-dropping saves. He would often keep Levante in games single-handedly. Per FBRef.com, he led the league with a 76.7 percent save percentage, as nobody else was above 75 percent.

At 29 years old, Aitor still has plenty of years of great play in him.
