Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane should have his eyes on these players.

It won’t be easy for Real Madrid to make impact signings in the 2020 summer transfer window, but manager Zinedine Zidane will want a few more star players for the present and future so that he can add a fourth Champions League trophy to his cabinet as manager.

Here are three ideal signings for the French manager.

FW Rayan Cherki

Lyon forward Rayan Cherki was fabulous in the French Cup, scoring three goals with two assists in only three appearances. Valued at 18 million euros by Transfermarkt, Cherki is perhaps the most realistic attacking signing for Real Madrid this summer.

Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe are the dream signings, but they won’t be able to join Madrid until at least 2021. Cherki can’t make the same immediate impact as those two forwards, but the 16-year-old is a special prospect in his own right. What he did in this year’s French Cup deserves the highest praise.

Cherki could sign with Real Madrid this summer but join in a couple of years, as a sign-and-loan-back deal with Lyon has been rumored. It could be an ideal solution for Cherki, who still needs a couple of more years of football under his belt before he’s ready to even be in the conversation for Los Blancos’s lineup.
