Real Madrid has a plethora of young talent at their disposal, but some of those youngsters are not quite ready for the first team or would like more playing time than Zinedine Zidane will give them. These three should be loaned out for the coming season.

At the time of writing, Real Madrid has 12 players out on loan. The club is determined to send players out across Europe whether they are part of the Castilla side or are a fringe first-teamer.

Three guys – Dani Ceballos, Sergio Reguillon, and Alvaro Odriozola – were regulars in the Real Madrid squad last season, however, they are now out on loan with big clubs. Some, like Ceballos, have enjoyed the time away from their parent club so much they might consider making a permanent move away from the Spanish capital.

That being said, I think it is safe to say that these three players will not be in the first-team next season and will again be loaned out.

Alvaro Odriozola

It’s very difficult to predict what will happen to the Spanish fullback in the next few months. When Los Blancos purchased Odriozola from Real Sociedad at the end of the summer of 2018, many fans were confused.

Alvaro had proven in his time in San Sebastian that he was a solid option, but he was signed to a deal that was too long (six years) at a time when Real Madrid was unsure of the direction they wanted to take with their young players.

Now, nearly two years after the signing, it is clear that Alvaro Odriozola was signed to fill a specific need and is no longer required to fill that need.

Both Reguillon and Achraf Hakimi will be returning to the team once this season is finally wrapped up and both are worlds better than Odriozola.

Since there are still four years remaining on his current contract, I think it would be wise of Real to loan the fullback out to a Spanish or Premier League side to see where he is when matched up with quality competition.

This short stint with Bayern Munich has not helped draw any conclusions since he has barely made any appearances with the Bavarians. In fact, his substitute appearance Saturday against Fortuna Dusseldorf was his first appearance since the end of February and the first since Bundesliga play resumed a few weeks ago.
