Real Madrid: Predictions for the last seven La Liga fixtures
By Yasheel Vyas
Real Madrid Vs Alaves(Game Week 35)
Alaves’ form has been pretty dodgy since the return having four defeats out of five games and they are in the bottom half of the table nine points off the relegation zone. They will have absolutely nothing to play for when this game arrives which is advantageous for Madrid.
Real Madrid had a tough time beating Alaves in the reverse fixture with a second-half Dani Carvajal goal helping us get all three points. Alaves is a tough team to breakdown as they put every player behind the ball while defending in a 4-5-1 formation.
This caused Real a problem in the last fixture but a bit of magic from Carvajal helped us get through. Zidane will surely make some rotations after a grueling contest with Bilbao but Madrid should still play at their very best to get past Alaves.
Prediction: Real Madrid 2-1 Alaves
Granada Vs Real Madrid(Game Week 36)
This is another one of tricky away fixtures Real Madrid will have to face apart from the trip to San Mames. Granada is another team fighting for Europa and it is a pretty close competition going between the teams fighting for the European spots. Granada will make life tough for Los Blancos and would make them fight for all three points.
Zidane will have a full squad most likely for these games as Luka Jovic will most likely be back for these fixtures. Zidane has prepared well for every game so far and has given importance to even the not so tricky fixtures and I expect no exception being made here as well. Granada’s defense has been poor and Los Merengues exploited that in the reverse fixture at Santiago Bernabeu by putting four past them. In the last three games against Granada, Los Blancos have scored 13 goals and conceding just two. Madridistas can be in for another treat on matchday 36.
Prediction: Granada 1-3 Real Madrid
