Real already had shown their superiority over Barcelona this year by defeating La Blaugrana in March 2-0, comprehensively taking down their struggling rivals.
Now, the 34th league title in the club’s history is officially theirs, and the fans can relax on the season’s final matchday against Leganes.

Now, Madrid fans can sit back and enjoy the final game of the season against Leganes, who have a lot to play for but seem destined to be relegated. It won’t matter if Real win this match, so fans could also get to see a lot of young players get a chance that wouldn’t have otherwise. Brahim Diaz, for example, is a fan-favorite prospect who has received a mere 31 La Liga minutes this season. Perhaps the young forward could be a star on Sunday evening.
