Marco Asensio – 7.5/10

Asensio had a quiet first half. He struggled to impose himself in the game and did not get himself in decisive positions.

Things changed in the second half. His movements were much better and made some lovely off the ball run. The Spanish international finally got his reward when Isco sent through a fantastic ball, and Asensio puts it into the back of the net with a sublime finish.

Vinicius Junior – 5.5/10

Vinicius had a poor game throughout. He did not lack effort, but he failed at execution. He completed only four out of his eight attempted dribbles, and those were his only contribution in the final third.

Vinicius did not manage to get a single shot off, and his passing lacked conviction. Overall it was a match to forget for the Brazillian.

Karim Benzema – 5.5/10

Benzema entered the match needing four goals to tie Lionel Messi for the Pichichi trophy. However, the Frenchman seemed disinterested in the meaningless game for Los Blancos after already clinching the La Liga title.

Benzema barely got involved during the time he was on the pitch. The Merengues forward had 27 touches and only had one shot that was off target. He got replaced by Jovic in the 61st minute.
