Honing and encouraging the wonderkids

Rodrygo, Vinícius Júnior, and Fede Valverde were instrumental in Real’s La Liga triumph, playing their parts whenever called upon. Rodrygo even formed a part of the front three alongside Eden Hazard and Karim Benzema at the beginning of the season, scoring a hat-trick against Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League.

He is the third-highest scorer on the team behind Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos.

In Fede Valverde, Real Madrid has unearthed an elite box-to-box midfielder. He is effervescent and always brings a lot of energy on the pitch, not to forget the fact that he has the ability to constantly impact the games as a substitute. He has saved Real Madrid from splashing money on another central midfielder.

Vinícius has worked relentlessly on the training ground trying to improve his finishing. Zidane has put in the extra hours with him, giving him personal mentoring and tips to improve his finishing.

Scoring four goals last seasons, he has done himself one better this time by scoring five in 38 appearances.

His game has significantly improved as his decision-making in the final third has only elevated since he came over from Flamengo.
