Real Madrid have arguably the most talented loanees in European football, but most of them will need a second loan.

From Martin Odegaard to Takefusa Kubo, Real Madrid had more than a handful of loanees play starring roles for quality clubs around Europe. Sergio Reguilon helped Sevilla make the Champions League, Odegaard helped Real Sociedad earn a Europa League spot, and Kubo and Oscar Rodriguez nearly did enough on their own to help their clubs avoid the drop.

But Real won’t be able to keep all of their young players. Some of them still need to develop before playing key roles for Los Blancos in the future, while others will want to be sold permanently. Los Blancos have already sold Achraf Hakimi to Inter Milan, for example.

There are clubs in Spain with ambitions of making it to the Europa League or even the Champions League, and they know the right loanee from Real Madrid can help them achieve their goals.

Getafe didn’t sign a Real player on loan in 2019-2020, but Javier Hernandez of AS reports that Brahim Diaz and Borja Mayoral are at the top of their list.

A great defensive team, Getafe finished outside the top seven despite teasing Champions League contention for most of the season. Their problem? A lackluster attack. Mayoral is coming off a strong season or Levante and has interest from around Europe, even Lazio. Meanwhile, Brahim is even better, but he needs a loan deal to get the playing time to show it.

The report also mentions that Getafe want Alvaro Odriozola and Reinier. Odriozola will almost certainly get another season on loan in La Liga. Real Madrid could use an actual backup right back to Dani Carvajal, but Odriozola needs playing time to improve. He clearly has potential.

Reinier is headed for a big-ticket loan in 2020-2021. He has all the tools to become one of the best attacking midfielders in world football, which is why Los Blancos spent 30 million euros on the prospect at the winter transfer window. Even Bayer Leverkusen, a somewhat consistent Champions League club, is interested.
