FW Rodrygo Goes

Capable of playing on either the left or right side, Rodrygo Goes is perhaps Real Madrid’s most talented prospect. Like Vinicius Junior, fans whisper about Rodrygo being a future Ballon d’Or winner, but they are cautious so as to not put too much of a weight of expectations onto the level-headed and respectful forward.

With a Champions League perfect hat-trick under his belt and a slew of other goals, including the second-fastest debut goal in Real Madrid history, Rodrygo already has experience succeeding on the first team. Rodrygo has mostly played on the right side of the attack despite being right-footed, due to a dearth of better options.

If Rodrygo gets a chance to play more on the left side next season, then all bets are off. Per WhoScored.com, he won a whopping six dribbles on the left side against Deportivo Alaves, which is an Eden Hazard-like figure. His confidence was a sight to behold at his preferred position.

Rodrygo is the total package. He makes intelligent runs, he works hard, his passing is crisp, and he can finish a chance. And again, his dribbling skills are sure to delight when he’s in his element on that left side.

Look for Rodrygo to have a major second-year revelation at Real Madrid.
