4. October 31, 5-0 win over Leganes

This match started Eden Hazard’s best run of form for Real Madrid in La Liga. His first goal and assist came earlier in October in a 4-2 win over Granada, and while he didn’t score or assist at any other point in 2019, he did so much more to help Los Blancos when it came to starting chances.

In this blowout win over Leganes, Hazard helped set the tone for Real’s masterclass in the attack against the relegation side. Hazard dazzled the Santiago Bernabeu crowd with a jaw-dropping seven dribbles completed and seven fouls drawn, per WhoScored.com, completely frustrating Leganes. He also added two key passes as the control center of the team’s attack.

3. November 9, 4-0 win over Eibar

Facing Eibar on the road in the snow would be a tricky challenge for many La Liga teams, but Real Madrid ran into zero issues against the bottom-half league side in November. And that was largely thanks to Eden Hazard, who was immaculate in the cold conditions.

Hazard was colder than the snow off the dribble, dusting Eibar’s defense with rabonas and glorious skill moves throughout the evening. He won seven more dribbles to continue a scintillating run of form that was reminiscent of his best matches at Chelsea. The connection between Karim Benzema and Hazard first started to look unstoppable in this demolition of Eibar.
