Real Madrid attacking midfielder Takefusa Kubo is in high demand on a loan deal for next season.

The suitors continue to line up for Real Madrid 19-year-old prospect Takefusa Kubo. First, La Liga clubs Granada, Real Betis, and Real Sociedad had the most interest, as Kubo is ready to step up his game from Mallorca to a. club that could play European football, such as La Real.

But now, even bigger clubs are showing interest in Kubo. He and Zinedine Zidane are reportedly approving of a loan spell at Sevilla, who recently finished in the top four of La Liga under new manager Julen Lopetegui.

Sevilla aren’t the only Champions League side interested in Kubo, though. According to a report from Voetbal Flitsen, Ajax have interest in acquiring the attacking midfielder on a two-year loan deal.

While Sevilla have become an exciting team with young players like Yousef En-Nesyri, Lucas Ocampos, Jules Kounde, and Real Madrid loanee Sergio Reguilon, Ajax are generally always one of the most exciting teams in the world. Matthijs de Ligt, Hakim Ziyech, and Frenkie de Jong have all moved on to bigger clubs, but stars like Donny van de Beek and Dusan Tadic remain.

Kubo’s development could skyrocket at either Sevilla or Ajax, especially with the possibility of him starting games in the Champions League. Both clubs have enough talent to make it to the knockout stages, too, depending on who they draw in the group stages. Maybe Real Madrid even go head-to-head with Kubo in the league and Champions League if he goes to Sevilla.

Ajax are an intriguing landing spot for Kubo, but Sevilla may be favored between the two of them. It’s more ideal to have a loanee play in La Liga, because it’s easier for those skills to translate. La Liga is the toughest league in Europe right now, whereas the Dutch Eredivisie is not at a high level of competition, especially when you compare how much better Ajax is than everyone else.
