Who could try to sign Luka Jovic from Real Madrid?

After a thrilling campaign with Eintracht Frankfurt, Real Madrid pursued to buy Luka Jovic for 62 million pounds. However, his transition to Madrid is rocky at best. There have been issues with his decision-making while nursing an injury.

Although, he eventually returned back to training and substituted Karim Benzema on Sunday in the 2-2 draw vs Leganes bringing his total to 422 minutes played this season. Needless to say, he has struggled to stay fit, when healthy, he could not find his form. Jovic ended the season with 2 goals and two assists.

There is speculation that Luka Jovic may leave Real Madrid for a loan spell if Real Madrid cannot recoup the full or most of the 62M they paid for Jovic. Therefore, a loan option seems to be the best move for Real Madrid, so they do not lose Jovic to Champions League competitor.

Here are some of the destinations that could bode well for Luka Jovic.

AC Milan

The first option is A.C. Milan. Why Milan? There is chemistry in Milan with his former teammate Ante Rebic who played with Luka Jovic at Eintracht Frankfurt, where Jovic was able to net 27 goals, including 10 in the Europa League, which eventually put him on the radar of Europe’s top clubs. The potential is definitely there, however, a two-year loan would not be a bad idea for Jovic to revitalize his career.

He has struggled at Real Madrid, and as we all know, it is a club of expectations, and these players are playing with the pressure by the city of Madrid and their fans. Jovic has only scored two goals for Madrid in 24 games since his arrival from Frankfurt. Milan and Madrid have excellent relations with each other, and this would be the best option for Luka Jovic.
