Real Madrid’s young players could be full of surprises in 2020-2021.

As we celebrate our 34th La Liga Santander title, here are some players who can surprise us on the pitch next season for Real Madrid or as a loanee.

Luka Jovic

Luka Jovic as we all know was one of the talented strikers in the Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfurt. Real Madrid decided to buy him for 60 million euros to be the heir of Karim Benzema. However, he has not lived up to the potential.

What could Real Madrid do to rejuvenate Jovic’s career? Most would say sending him on loan would be the right choice. That also affects our depth at striker for 2020-2021 leaving Karim Benzema the only one at top. With Mariano Diaz not being a definite answer, it could be a second chance for Luka Jovic to prove his worth to Real Madrid after they paid a hefty fee for the striker.

Eder Militao

The Brazilian defender has been up to the task when Sergio Ramos could not play against Deportivo Alaves. Eder Militao has done well by appearing in 15 matches for Real Madrid. Militao is extremely versatile and can play any defender position, which Zinedine Zidane values greatly.

Eder Militao has a big test this weekend against Manchester City. It will be interesting to see how he fares against the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling. If Militao passes the test, Real Madrid have scored on a potential replacement for Sergio Ramos.

Brahim Diaz

There not much to say about Brahim Diaz. However, Real Madrid pulled him over from Manchester City. Brahim Diaz appeared in 6 matches. After Los Blancos won the title, the team was able to see 29 minutes of action from Diaz in the season finale against Leganes. There has been some talk for loan opportunities with Getafe and Real Betis.

However, it is yet to be determined if Brahim Diaz will go on loan. If Diaz does indeed go on loan, he will get playing time to show Real Madrid he can come back and play for them at the Santiago Bernabeu from the 2021 season along with others such as Martin Odegaard and Takefusa Kubo, who are showing promise at their loanee clubs.
