Time to look forward

The 2020/2021 La Liga season begins September 12. 36 days from now.

Real Madrid has a lot of business they need to sort through before then. What loan deals will be made? Will Casemiro, Ramos, and Modric get new contracts? Will Luka Jovic get another season to prove himself? Will the team want to bring in a back-up central defensive midfielder?

The window is condensed and the offseason is much shorter than anyone would have every expected, but it is time to look forward. Yes, capturing the league title this season was the goal, but exiting the Champions League round of 16 for the second consecutive year and Zidane’s inability to win the Copa del Rey leaves much to be desired.

Next. Brahim Diaz could get a Europa League shot next year. dark

The youth in the squad is exciting and the questions of who will be purchased will reign supreme throughout these next 36 days.

Five weeks until we go again, folks. Until then, Hala Madrid y nada mas.
