2. How much will Luka Jović play?

Madridistas want to know what the future holds for Luka Jović, who can still be an important player for Los Blancos. Jović joined Real Madrid for 60 million euros in the 2019 summer transfer window, but he made perhaps the least impact of any new signings due to a lack of minutes.

The Serbian international logged a meager 422 La Liga minutes, but he did score twice and assisted once, even though most of his appearances came when there was just about no time in the match. Jović made the most of his minutes, in truth, flashing world-class ability with his game-winning backheel for Casemiro vs. Sevilla in 2020.

There are a lot of rumors about Jović, but Zinedine Zidane stands by the player publicly. Unless Real Madrid get absolutely wowed by a transfer offer for the young striker, which is highly unlikely, he is staying. Yes, Real have eyes on Erling Håland as a long-term target, potentially for 2022.

But why sit there and dream about Håland when Jović is still in the squad and has plenty of talent in his own right. The last time he was a regular player, Jović was one of the Bundesliga’s best. Real Madrid must see what he has to offer in 2020-2021, and it is time for Zidane to give him meaningful minutes, as important as Karim Benzema is.
