Vinícius Júnior

In the summer of 2017, Real Madrid made a contract with Vinicius Junior that he will be a Madrid player after his 18th birthday. In 2018, Madrid officially presented Vinícius as a Real Madrid player. He made a sudden impact in the squad with his dribbling skills and chance-creation, providing assists to his fellow mates in Madrid. He made it into headlines when he scored a goal against Barcelona in 2020.

Vinicius played ahead of Eden Hazard in his last season when the Belgian winger was going through an injury. He played a vital role for Zinedine Zidane’s sidein clinching La Liga last season. Vinicius has shown a passion for the badge and made himself an important piece of the club. His style of playing has won hearts at the Bernabeu and of the fans all around the world.

Eden Hazard is aged 28 and will continue in Madrid for the coming three to four seasons. After Hazard it’s quite obvious Vinicius is a regular starter in every match. Vinicius can surpass Hazard, but the Belgian has a strong belief in himself for the upcoming season. Vinicius has to fight for the spot. One more challenge for Vinicius is his finishing skills. He is not clinical in front of the goal numerous times and is often criticized for it. I’m sure Vini will overcome this, and doing so will help him for his future in this club.

Expectations for Vinicius are to be patient, keep fighting for his place, show enthusiasm on the pitch, and win hearts. T player has to shine on numerous occasions and grab silverware. Zidane’s plan for Vinicius is likely to play him along with Eden Hazard on the left-wing and use both of them simultaneously. So as per the situation in Madrid’s squad, I see Vinicius shinning in the Spanish capital for the coming years, and he will end up being one of the best forwards to have played for Los Blancos.
