Forwards

Luka Jovic – 7/10

Jovic had a much better game than he did on Saturday. He was more involved in the play and got into great positions. His movements were dynamic and he could have scored a couple of goals had things gone his way. However, his finishing was below par on the night. It was still an encouraging outing for the Serbian amidst reports of his loan move to Manchester United.

Karim Benzema – 5.5/10

Benzema had a sub-par game by his standards. The Frenchman did not get involved as he usually does with an xG buildup of .09 per Understat.com. He also under-hit a pass to Vinicius in a two on one situation that could have set the Brazillian free.

Substitutes

Marco Asensio – 7/10

Asensio replaced Isco in the 56th minute and changed the game for Real Madrid. He completed five dribbles in the match and one of them started the move that led to Vinicius scoring the winner.

Vinicius Junior – 7.5/10

Vinicius put on an electrifying display off the bench. His decision making in the final third is still questionable, but the kid is a constant threat. He scored the winner for Real Madrid and should have gotten a second with the final run of the match. However, his attempt was soft, and the ball went straight to the keeper.

Dani Carvajal – 6.5/10

Replaced Odriozola in the 58th minute and contributed with two tackles and two clearances.
