Real Madrid defeated Levante 2-0 on Matchday 5 and now head into the international break. Here are five burning questions for Los Blancos.

Once again, Real Madrid didn’t make it look easy, but they were indeed the better side on Matchday 5 at the Estadio de la Ceramica, defeating upstarts Levante 2-0.

Thibaut Courtois, Luka Modric, and Raphael Varane led the way again for another victory before the international break. Here are five burning questions for Los Blancos.

How much will Martin Odegaard play for Real Madrid?

After Martin Odegaard started against Real Sociedad in his first game of the season and looked impressive, Madridistas saw that as a sign that Zinedine Zidane would have major plans for the Norway international as a regular starter.

But Odegaard only played a few minutes against Levante as a substitute, and he has not started against either Real Valladolid or Levante in Madrid’s last two games.

Madridistas were understandably frustrated by Odegaard’s lack of minutes, since the team would have benefited from him playing a little bit earlier in the match.

But it’s important to be patient with Odegaard’s involvement. Zidane has a lot of talented midfielders to play, even with Toni Kroos injured for the last couple of games. Isco has a spot in the team. Luka Modric and Fede Valverde have been absolute class to start the season.

Odegaard has a role to play, but it’s good for him to get eased into things anyway.
