Real Madrid Femenino take on Valencia CF Femenino in their second game of Primera Iberdrola.

Valencia CF Femenino, Real Madrid Femenino’s opponents this weekend, are a strong team. In their first match of the season, against Sporting Huelva, Valencia were trailing by a goal heading into half time. However, they turned things around and scored two goals in the second half to win the game 2-1.

Valencia are definitely not as strong as Barcelona, but they can certainly pose a threat for handing Las Blancas their second consecutive loss to start the season with.

A lot of players that should have started in the XI, started on the bench vs. Barcelona. The likes of Sofia Jakobsson and Chioma Ubogagu, who were key players for CD Tacon in 2019-20, started on the bench.

Here’s the predicted starting lineup for Real Madrid Femenino for the game against Valencia Femenino:

Goalkeeper – Misa Rodríguez

When Misa Rodríguez signed for Real Madrid Femenino, her place in the starting lineup was already warranted. She was clearly the best goalkeeper in the team upon her arrival.

Against Barcelona, she proved her credentials even further and put on a splendid performance to limit the opposition to just 4 goals. Her contributions, especially in the first half, were a big reason why Real Madrid Femenino walked into half time with an equal chance of getting atleast a point from the game.
