Real Madrid Femenino: Predicted XI For The Match vs. Valencia
By Parshva Shah
Real Madrid Defence
Kenti Robles
The adventurous right-back was the best back-four player in the drubbing against Barcelona. She did well to cover the spaces in behind the defence and showed a lot of intent moving forward, combining well with Marta Cardona, Sofia Jakobsson, and Kosovare Asllani. Her debut was very encouraging and she will definitely help Las Blancas with more than just shielding the goal this season.
Ivana Andrés
The Spaniard is the captain of the team, so it’s a no-brainer that she will start most of the games. She wasn’t at her best against Barcelona, but she will be eager to hit the ground running against a team she started out her career with.
Babett Peter
Scoring an own goal in the first game of the new season always dents the confidence of any player. But Babett Peter is a determined player who is a veteran and will be as eager as any other player in the team to make a mark.
Marta Corredera
With an entirely new back-four barring Babett Peter, it is easy to understand the lack of chemistry between the players. With time, things will only improve, and so will Marta Corredera’s form. She will continue to play at left-back and will definitely bring her versatility to Real Madrid’s advantage sooner than later.
