Cadiz have one La Liga veteran with experience at Manchester City in striker Alvaro Negredo. A powerful, out-and-out striker, Negredo has the finishing ability and experience to make Real Madrid pay if they aren’t careful. Negredo is not the same player he used to be, but he can still pounce on mistakes or cause a problem on a cross or set piece. Those kinds of goals can always catch even Real’s vaunted defense off guard.

That said, Real Madrid should be able to take care of business against Cadiz’s attack and Negredo, as they have one of the best center back duos in the modern era.

Sergio Ramos has been enjoying a quality start to the season, picking up where he left off last season, especially at the season’s end when his clutch performances helped Real secure the La Liga trophy.

The No. 4 could also come up big in this game as a leader or a goal-scorer from the penalty spot if Real Madrid find it hard to score goals against a Cadiz team that will fight with everything they have at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.

But there’s no man you’d rather have in a tough, scrappy fight of a match than Ramos. He can be the difference, if needed. Really, though, all he needs to be is solid.
