Real Madrid needs a poacher in front of the goal. Erling Haaland is a perfect and important target for Los Blancos.
Real Madrid has started the new season with some ups and downs. They started well in the league currently sitting in second in the table behind Real Sociedad with a game in a hand. Whereas in the Champions League, Los Blancos lost the opening game to Shaktar and drew the second with Mönchengladbach. Real won an important fixture against Inter on matchday three earlier this week, but it wasn’t pretty.
There are many problems with this sloppy start to the season. Real have conceded a lot of goals and the scoring problem is still infuriating for the fans. Real has failed to convert chances because the number nine, Karim Benzema, mostly plays on the wings and tries to create chances.
But for whom?
Zidane tried Luka Jovic several times at the start of the season, but it didn’t go as planned. Jovic is an amazing player, but I feel the bonding between him and the team is still lacking. The future of Jovic is uncertain but I want him to stay as he will help the side once when he finds his former Frankfurt’s form.
Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, on the other hand, is in top form. Still!
He has managed to score 14 goals in 11 appearance in Champions League which is a great achievement for any youngster. Haaland has been and continues to be heavily linked with Real Madrid. Madrid did not sign anyone this season and it is assumed that Real will go for a superstar in 2021. Kylian Mbappe, Eduardo Camavinga, Haaland, and defender Jules Kounde are heavily linked.
After Cristiano Ronaldo left for Juventus in 2018, Real Madrid has struggled to score consistently. Haaland looks like he is the one who can change that. The Norwegian link up between he and Martin Odegaard will help the club long-term. He is a complete number nine, he will play as a perfect striker, and Real will be able to find the goals they have been looking for.

Getting Haaland won’t be an easy job for the club as Dortmund is not willing to sell him before 2022. And with stars like Mbappe, Camavinga, and Kounde linked too, it makes one wonder what the priorities of the club are moving forward.
Getting all of these young stars in coming years is also a possibility. It is rumored that Haaland prefers Madrid over other clubs. Real MADRID should sign him and he will certainly help a lot in attack.
