Real Madrid will travel to the San Siro for a crucial Champions League fixture against Inter Milan.

In their most recent Champions League match before the November international break, Real Madrid picked up all three points at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano by edging out Inter Milan 3-2.

Real nearly blew the game in the second half, but young Brazilian wingers Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes rescued the day, with Vini making his best pass on the counterattack yet to setup the cool-headed Rodrygo.

Since that victory, Los Blancos have not won. They were embarrassed 4-1 at Valencia and then blew a 1-0 advantage from Mariano Diaz’s second-minute header at the Estadio de la Ceramica. In all truth, Real are lucky they even got a point out of that game, since they had so many absences and were outplayed badly in the second 45.

On Wednesday night, Real Madrid will travel to the San Siro for their second Champions League group stage match. Despite the earlier victory over Inter, Real are still staring down the Europa League; they are third in the group.

Here are five players on Los Merengues to watch closely this week when the team faces Inter in what can only be described as a must-win match for Zinedine Zidane’s men.
